DORMA Door Control gets a make-over

Door equipment with integrated functions and co-ordinated design

With its prototype dubbed “Leonardo”, DORMA is presenting an innovative single-style control system for single and double doors incorporating TS 93 closers and featuring a new look. This is the “New Soft” style that has been applied to both DORMA’s automatic operator and door closer products. The “Leonardo” system also offers wide-ranging possibilities for both functional and visual integration of accessories such as a smart smoke detector with integral power pack in the systematised depth dimension of 55 mm.

An automatic service display enhances the functional reliability of the system by indicating the need for maintenance activities in accordance with pre-programmed intervals. Moreover, should an emergency arise, an audible alarm module is immediately triggered to emit a warning signal at the door concerned, indicating for example that fire has broken out behind the door and thus facilitating the activities of fire-fighting and rescue personnel.
